Why Does Rugby Matter?

Because this.Screen Shot 2014-12-12 at 5.17.11 PM

Because 2015 is a Rugby World Cup year. (Which only happens every four years.) Because New Zealand won it last time, and no team has ever won two in a row. Because the All Blacks are the best team in the world. Because Richie McCaw led them to victory last time on a broken foot, and nothing but guts and determination and his example carried them through that night, with a nation sitting on the team’s shoulders.

Because the haka is awesome, and “God Defend New Zealand” is beautiful in Maori and in English. Because rugby is pure physicality and pure mateship.

Because it does.

Because of your books I have fallen in love with rugby and New Zealand and the people, who live there. Thanks for opening up my life to this new delight. Please keep writting books about the All Blacks, and keep enriching my life. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I can hardly wait until things start back up and the World Cups starts up. I am deffinitly stuck in forever.

Because Richie McCaw would’ve been sufficient as a response to your question :) Can’t wait for this year’s RWC and hopefully we can make it a double!

I am an avid reader and your books are truly a find… Read more »
